Preparing for Your Newborn Session

Here’s how to get ready for your upcoming photo session

OUTFIT TIPS

  • Soft colors like white, beige, gray, and pastels work best.

  • Avoid bold patterns and bright colors — black, Blue, Red.

  • Solid colors ensure the focus stays on your baby.

  • Add textures like knits or lace for depth.

  • For Mom — Flowing dress or soft blouse with jeans.

  • For Dad — Plain shirt or sweater in a neutral color.

PREPARATION TIPS

  • Ensure the baby has a big feed before session.

  • A bottle of milk or formula is a great idea.

  • Dress baby in a simple onesie, to reduce tricky undressing.

  • Having a dummy on hand can be helpful, even if they don’t typically use it.

  • Moms, please remove chipped nail polish.

  • Dads, ensure clean nails and hands.

Clients' wardrobe

I have dresses available for you to borrow to take the stress off you. My wardrobe has options for all moms, no matter your size.

However, if you have your own clothes or blankets, feel free to prepare them, and I will gladly use them.
