I'm so glad you're here, and I hope this guide gives you an insight into what a session with me will look like.

I am a Family photographer based in beautiful Portland, Oregon.

My heart belongs to my family, photography, and coffee.

I truly enjoy creating beautiful images, but what I love most about my job is capturing genuine moments, telling your story as it unfolds, and documenting the special connections between you and your loved ones.

THE STUDIO

I have a cozy, natural-light studio located in Southwest Portland — a quiet, private space designed specifically for the sessions I offer: newborn, maternity, family, and milestone portraits.

The studio is thoroughly cleaned before and after each session using non-toxic, baby-safe products. Items from the client wardrobe are carefully washed and sanitized after every use to ensure everything is fresh and ready for the next family.

I provide water and snacks, so you can relax and don’t need to bring much. Just come as you are, with any personal items you'd like photographed and milk if needed. The space is peaceful and calm, created for you to feel comfortable and enjoy the experience.

I’m so excited to capture these precious moments in my Portland studio, designed to feel comfortable, cozy, and baby-friendly.

The space is set up with soft lighting, plush blankets, and comfy props to create a relaxed atmosphere where we can focus on those sweet, giggly moments.

Whether it’s their first time sitting up or their contagious smile, I’ll guide you through the session to ensure your baby feels at ease.

The studio is safe and welcoming, with everything in place to highlight your baby’s personality while keeping the experience stress-free and enjoyable.

WHAT TO WEAR?

For a natural, timeless look, I recommend dressing your baby in soft, neutral tones like pastels, whites, beige, or light grey.

Simple, classic outfits — like a favourite onesie, a cute dress, or a soft sweater — are perfect for showcasing your baby’s personality.

I also have a selection of adorable outfits for babies available in my client wardrobe, so you’re welcome to choose from those if you’d like.

Feel free to bring any props or special items, such as milestone markers, blankets, or a beloved stuffed animal, to add a personal touch to the photos.

If you’d like to join in the photos, I suggest parents wear comfortable, neutral clothing. Light, airy outfits work best to keep the focus on your baby and maintain a fresh, natural vibe. Avoid busy patterns or logos to keep it simple and timeless.

Every mama is welcome to browse and select her favourite pieces from my client wardrobe as well.

Above all, make sure everyone feels comfortable and confident!

The most popular age for milestone sessions is 8 months, when babies are sitting up, not crawling yet, and at their absolute cutest!

MAKING YOUR SESSION STRESS-FREE

To ensure a smooth and relaxed session, I recommend arriving a little early so your baby can get comfortable in the studio.

Bring along any snacks, toys, or comfort items to help keep them happy and calm.

Don’t stress if your baby doesn’t sit perfectly still — this session is all about capturing their natural, joyful moments.

Dress comfortably, and if you’re joining the photos, choose simple, soft clothing.

Babies have their own rhythm, so if a break is needed, we’ll take it.

Most importantly, just enjoy the moment and let things flow naturally.

HOW IT ALL WORKS

01. Let’s Chat & Get Started

Once you decide I’m the right fit for you, simply accept your quote, review and sign the agreement, and complete the deposit within 48 hours to secure your date. The booking link will also include a short questionnaire so I can get to know you and your family right away.

02. Styling & Location

I’ll send you my style and location guide to help you create a cohesive look for your images and choose the perfect location for your session.

03. Almost There

One week before your session, you’ll receive a preparation email with detailed instructions and an invoice for the final balance.

04. Session Day

Yay! Today’s the day! We’ll meet at the chosen location for your maternity session or in my studio for your newborn session. Just arrive on time, be present, and enjoy the moment — I’ll take care of the rest.

05. Gallery Delivery

Your images will be carefully edited and ready within 1–2 weeks after your session. You’ll receive an online gallery where you can choose your favorites — or upgrade to keep them all. Download and save your images to your computer or device.

06. Prints in Your Hands

Get excited! This is when your beautiful prints of your most treasured moments arrive at your doorstep.
