I’m so glad you’re here and I hope this guide gives you a glimpse into what a session with me truly feels like... calm, effortless and filled with love.

As a maternity and newborn photographer, I’m passionate about capturing the beauty of motherhood. Every tender touch, every quiet moment, every tiny detail that makes this season so special.

Based in Portland, I use soft, natural light to create timeless images that tell your story with warmth and authenticity.

My approach is gentle and relaxed, allowing you to simply be present. Whether you’re enjoying the special time before your baby arrives or soaking in those first precious weeks with your baby. I want you to look back on your images and feel every emotion all over again, remembering not just how it looked, but how it felt.

THE STUDIO

I have a cozy, natural-light studio located in Southwest Portland — a quiet, private space designed specifically for the sessions I offer: newborn, maternity, family, and milestone portraits.

The studio is thoroughly cleaned before and after each session using non-toxic, baby-safe products. Items from the client wardrobe are carefully washed and sanitized after every use to ensure everything is fresh and ready for the next family.

I provide water and snacks, so you can relax and don’t need to bring much. Just come as you are, with any personal items you'd like photographed and milk if needed. The space is peaceful and calm, created for you to feel comfortable and enjoy the experience.

WHAT TO WEAR?

I have a range of stunning gowns as part of my client wardrobe and I assist 90% of my clients with outfit selection, the process is incredibly straightforward.

Simply pick from the gallery, and I'll handle the rest - preparing, steaming and bringing the outfits to your session.

You'll look stunning, be free to walk in the dirt, sand or water, and I'll take care of the cleaning afterwards.

LOCATION

When choosing a location for your Family session, your comfort and vision are what guide the process.

After booking, you’ll receive a location guide with my favorite spots — from the Columbia River Gorge to the Oregon Coast — all thoughtfully chosen for their beauty, light, and natural feel.

MATERNITY

Congratulations on this exciting new chapter in your life. This is such an intimate and special time, and I would be honoured to document your journey for you.

Maternity sessions are best captured between 30–34 weeks of pregnancy.

I offer two types of maternity sessions:

Outdoor sessions — photographed at sunset, including parents and siblings.
Studio sessions — held mid-morning in my Portland studio, also including parents and siblings.

NEWBORN

There is nothing more fleeting or precious than those first few days with your baby. Newborn photography holds a special place in my heart and it’s a privilege to document these early moments before they slip away. The tiny details, the softness, the way they curl up so perfectly, this is the magic I love to capture.

The ideal time for a newborn session is between 5 to 15 days old, when babies are most sleepy and curled up, allowing us to document their newness in the most beautiful way.

My studio has been thoughtfully designed to offer a comfortable and elegant space where you can relax and take in the moment.

Each session lasts up to 2 hours, giving plenty of time for feeding, settling and capturing your baby at their most peaceful. I provide a carefully curated wardrobe of stunning dresses for mums, along with a collection of heirloom blankets, wraps and rompers because every tiny detail matters.

My goal is not just to create beautiful images, but to make this experience one you’ll truly enjoy.

HOW IT ALL WORKS

01. Let’s Chat & Get Started

Once you decide I’m the right fit for you, simply accept your quote, review and sign the agreement, and complete the deposit within 48 hours to secure your date. The booking link will also include a short questionnaire so I can get to know you and your family right away.

02. Styling & Location

I’ll send you my style and location guide to help you create a cohesive look for your images and choose the perfect location for your session.

03. Almost There

One week before your session, you’ll receive a preparation email with detailed instructions and an invoice for the final balance.

04. Session Day

Yay! Today’s the day! We’ll meet at the chosen location for your maternity session or in my studio for your newborn session. Just arrive on time, be present, and enjoy the moment — I’ll take care of the rest.

05. Gallery Delivery

Your images will be carefully edited and ready within 1–2 weeks after your session. You’ll receive an online gallery where you can download and save them to your computer or device, and you’ll also have the option to order prints directly from the gallery.

06. Prints in Your Hands

Get excited! This is when your beautiful prints of your most treasured moments arrive at your doorstep.
