YOU’RE BOOKED!

I’m so excited to photograph your family this holiday season!

Mini sessions move quickly, but don’t worry. I’ll guide you through the entire session and make the most of our time together.

Here’s everything you need to know before you arrive.

BEFORE YOUR SESSION

Please arrive five minutes early and come dressed and ready to start.

Sessions are booked back-to-back, so arriving late will shorten your session time. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to extend the session since another family will be arriving right after you.

If you’re running late or having trouble finding the studio, text me at 360-292-9695.

FINDING THE STUDIO

1730 SW Skyline Blvd
Portland, OR 97221

There is plenty of free parking right outside the building.

Use the main entrance, go up to the second floor, turn left, and you’ll find me in Room 201.

Please note that the building does not have an elevator. If possible, leave your stroller in the car and bring only what you’ll need for the session.

WHAT TO WEAR

You can keep it cozy and casual or dress up a little. Both work beautifully with this year’s setup.

Cream, ivory, beige, camel, brown, muted green, burgundy, denim, and other soft, earthy colors are all great choices.

Try to coordinate instead of matching everyone exactly. Please avoid large logos, neon colors, and busy patterns.

The studio is a no-shoes space. You’re welcome to be barefoot or bring a clean pair of shoes to wear for your photos.

Not sure if everything works together? Lay out everyone’s outfits, take a quick photo, and text it to me. I’m always happy to help.

CHANGING AT THE STUDIO

I have a private room available if you’d like to get dressed at the studio.

If you’d like to use something from my client wardrobe, let me know ahead of time and arrive 10 to 15 minutes early.

Because mini sessions are short and scheduled back-to-back, please have your outfit decided before your session begins. Changing during the session will take away from your photo time.

ABOUT THE KIDS

I’ll be a new person in a new place, so little ones sometimes need a few minutes to warm up. That’s completely normal.

I’ll do my best to get their attention, but I may need your help behind the camera. Be ready to bring out your best silly faces, funny sounds, favorite songs, and all the hidden talents you didn’t know you had 😄

Please don’t ask your child to smile or “be good” before the session. Just tell them we’re going to play and take a few photos together.

You’re welcome to bring a favorite small toy or a quick, non-messy snack. Keep it hidden unless we need it because once it appears, there’s usually no going back.

And save the lollipop for after the session unless you’d like it included in every photo.

DURING YOUR SESSION

You don’t need to worry about where to stand, where to look, or what to do with your hands. I’ll guide you.

We’ll create a mix of natural moments and a few photos with everyone looking at the camera.

If your child doesn’t smile right away, that’s okay. Cuddles, little glances, and kids simply being themselves often make the best photos.

AFTER YOUR SESSION

Your finished gallery will be delivered within one week.

Depending on the collection you booked, you’ll be able to download your included images or select your favorites directly from the gallery.

If you fall in love with more photos, you’ll have the option to purchase additional images or upgrade your collection.

You’ll also find a print store inside the gallery where you can order professional prints and keepsakes and have them delivered directly to your home.

I can’t wait to see you and your family! 🤍
