I’m so glad you’re here, and I hope this guide gives you a true sense of what a family session with me feels like — calm, effortless, and full of genuine connection.

As a family photographer, I’m passionate about capturing the moments that matter most — the laughter, the quiet glances, the little details that make your family unique. Whether it’s the sweet chaos of life with young children, the closeness you share as a couple, or the joy of welcoming a new baby, these are the memories worth preserving.

Based in Portland, I work with soft, natural light to create timeless images filled with warmth and authenticity. My approach is gentle and relaxed, so you can focus on simply being together while I capture the love, bonds, and personalities that make your family yours.

Whether you’re marking a milestone, celebrating a new chapter, or simply wanting to freeze a moment in time, my goal is for you to look back on your images and remember not just how it looked, but how it felt.

This portrait session is perfect for those who love a mix of lifestyle and posed photography, giving you the best of both worlds - beautiful, natural moments and softly guided poses.

As a family photographer, my goal is to capture the heart of your family, the moments that make you, you. As we move through the session, your role is simple: play, laugh, cuddle, and fully embrace the present with your loved ones.

My role is to document these fleeting moments, weaving a series of images that reflect the rhythm of your life, right here and now.

We work with the golden light of sunset — soft, warm, and effortlessly stunning. The session lasts around 45 minutes, just enough time to immerse yourself in the experience. Upon booking, you'll receive a list of my carefully selected locations, where we can create this magic. I also offer complimentary use of my client wardrobe for mothers, with select children's pieces available as well.

This extended family session is perfect for bringing everyone together and capturing a mix of group portraits and natural moments. It’s a great way to celebrate your family’s love and connection.

I’ll guide you through different combinations - group photos, individual family portraits, and special moments like grandparents with their grandchildren.

My approach is relaxed and simple, with gentle prompts to help everyone feel comfortable and natural.

01. Let’s Chat & Get Started

Once you decide I’m the right fit for you, simply accept your quote, review and sign the agreement, and complete the deposit within 48 hours to secure your date. The booking link will also include a short questionnaire so I can get to know you and your family right away.

02. Styling & Location

I’ll send you my style and location guide to help you create a cohesive look for your images and choose the perfect location for your session.

03. Almost There

One week before your session, you’ll receive a preparation email with detailed instructions and an invoice for the final balance.

04. Session Day

Yay! Today’s the day! We’ll meet at the chosen location for your maternity session or in my studio for your newborn session. Just arrive on time, be present, and enjoy the moment — I’ll take care of the rest.

05. Gallery Delivery

Your images will be carefully edited and ready within 1–2 weeks after your session. You’ll receive an online gallery where you can download and save them to your computer or device, and you’ll also have the option to order prints directly from the gallery.

06. Prints in Your Hands

Get excited! This is when your beautiful prints of your most treasured moments arrive at your doorstep.
